This component of the event is designed specifically for Professionals and Attendees focusing on Home Health Care Resources and Support Services, Quality Products, Planning, Management and Monitoring the best care for dependent and independent living. This event will bring together family and professional caregivers for learning, networking, sharing, support and relaxation.

  1. Family Caregivers - An individual who cares for a mother, father, grandparents, sibling or friends in their own home. The well-being of family caregivers is a growing public health issue (Statistics Canada) There is a serious need for knowledge, support and direction so as to provide what is necessary to maintain a healthy in-home care environment.

  2. Home Care Caregivers - Is a career oriented individual who has made it their life to do home care either as a hired in-house caregiver or one who works within the structure of a facility. 

 

Our focus is entirely on the caregiver through education, resources, products and services. 

 

Care Receiver

 

This component of the event is structured to those who are in need of care through:

RECEIVING CARE AT HOME OR IN A FACILITY 

 

There are decistions that must be made considering the individual that is in need of care, what type of care is necessary,

who will be caring for the individual, what opportunities for respite within the community for the one providing the care, what

is available within your community to support the one receiving the care or if it has become necessary to continue their life

in a home care facility...what type of facility is best.

 

This event will provide needed information to assist you to make informed decisions
